The six driver was Sid Broughton out of South Haven, Michigan and driving Desperado started off great for the first 50-yards or so. His partner, GALOT (Get A Load Of This) pulled first and just over 314-feet, out of Hamilton, Ohio. It was the second tractor that ended up winning it all.Ī John Strickland driven GALOT II (Get A Load Of That) won the pull with 344-feet and some change out of Clinton, North Carolina. It featured just six tractors from Ohio, North Carolina, Wisconsin and Michigan. In the third class, the Super Stock Open brought an incredible pull and a fire on a tractor. The 21-year old Brady Ferris from Addison, Michigan was happy to take home first place as he high-fived his friends and crew once the last pull was under 300-feet, securing him the victory.Ī few tractors in this class broke down, some with engine failures, one with a busted wheel and another with a broken crank.
